Three exceptional developments have been selected as winners and a fourth highly commended in the Urban Land Institute's (ULI) Awards for Excellence: Europe, Middle East, and Africa (EMEA) competition, widely recognized as the land use industry’s most prestigious recognition program.

The period to submit applications closed on March 30, 2012

Finalists will be announced by the end of May 2012

Awards For Excellence Submission Overview
  • Eligibility, qualified countries, and schedules are available at the Navigation Bar links.
  • Developers and/or members of the development team submit completed applications to ULI, postmarked no later than February 18, 2012. 
  • Applications must be accompanied by high-quality images that best illustrate the special features and merits of the project.
  • The jury convenes to review all submissions and choose up to thirty finalists.
  • At least one jury member visits each finalist project.
  • Jury reconvenes to choose up to fourteen winners. The jury may choose up to fifteen if one of the winners is a Heritage Award winner.
