Product Councils are exclusive break out groups that a focus on a particular industry area. Councils typically have long waiting lists (up to a year or more) and appointment is contingent upon the approval of the Council’s executive committee.
· Annual Dues Payment
The corporate membership fee, which includes the Council Affiliation Fees (CAFs) for participating Full members, covers the membership cost for all individuals listed on the corporate membership roster and is paid one time annually.
· Bookstore Credit
Corporate members receive bookstore credit that can be used towards the purchase of ULI publications, or a subscription to ULI Development Case Studies. ($1,000 Sustaining credit; $500 Supporting credit).
· Registration Fee Credit
Corporate members receive registration credit that can be applied toward selected ULI Meetings, Conferences (Retail & Entertainment, Resort/Second Home & Golf Course Communities, Developing Green), Workshops, Webinars and Real Estate School courses. ($2,500 for each Sustaining member unit; and $1,500 for Supporting members).
· Fall/Spring Meeting – Corporate Registration Rate
ULI’s largest annual meetings, the Fall Meeting and the Spring Council Forum, are attended by over 10,000 people collectively. All employees of Corporate member companies are eligible to receive a discounted registration fee.
· Corporate Recognition
Corporate members are recognized in a variety of ways:
- Special advertisements in UrbanLand magazine
- Feature articles and executive spotlights in Sustaining/Supporting newsletter
- ULI Website section with web links to Sustaining Member firms
- Special badges at ULI Fall and Spring meetings.
· Customer Service
A dedicated ULI Account Representative is assigned to each Corporate member. They handle all member requests for benefits, registrations, sponsorships, advertising, roster changes and membership discounts.
· Transferability
Individual employees on Sustaining/Supporting rosters can be transferred, added or removed as upon request of the designated company representative.
Structure and Fees
Membership in a Sustaining/Supporting (Corporate) Membership is held by the company, and benefits are extended to individual employees who are designated by the company. Membership benefits may be transferred to any employee at any point in the membership year.
Corporate memberships are purchased in units. Each unit provides for a certain number of members designated in different membership categories or levels (i.e. Full, Regular, and Young Leader memberships). More of one type of membership can be reached in a unit by converting them on a sliding scale. This provides flexibility in terms of the level and number of memberships a firm can have.
Sustaining Membership Dues: $17,800 per year, plus a $400 one-time processing fee.
