Individual Memberships

ULI has several membership categories to accommodate your career stage or age. Below you can find more information on each category, as well as the membership dues by region. Full Membership*

Private Sector Member:

For the senior executive or principal working in the private sector.
Annual Dues: United States: $1,175; Europe: €565; all other regions: $530.

Public Sector Member:

For the senior-level public official or public planner, and nonprofit executives. Public sector applicants should include employer’s letterhead.
Annual Dues: United States: $410; Europe: €240; all other regions: $290.

*U.S. Full Membership is selective. Applicants must supply the names of three Full Members who can serve as sponsors in the designated area at right. Please note that the sponsors must be from three different organizations. A biography must also be submitted with your completed application via mail.

Full Member Benefits:

Individuals receive all basic member benefits (listed below) plus eligibility for regional and global leadership roles, invitations to exclusive events limited to Full Members, the option to use exclusive ULI Full Member logo on your company’s website, and free access to ULI’s case studies database, online reports, and professional development webinars.

Associate Membership

Private Sector:

For the entry-level to midcareer executive working in the private sector.
Annual Dues: United States: $420; Europe: €265; all other regions: $210.

Public Sector:

For the entry-level to midcareer public planner or government official, academics, and nonprofit employees. Public sector applicants should include employer’s letterhead.
Annual Dues: United States: $225; Europe: €130; all other regions: $150.

Associate Member Benefits:

Individuals receive all basic member benefits (listed below) plus eligibility for leadership roles at your local ULI group and free access to ULI’s case studies database, online reports, and professional development webinars.

Young Leader Membership

Young Leader Membership is limited to those under age 35. Applicants must provide proof of being under 35 years of age.
Annual Dues: United States: $265; Europe: €170; all other regions: $170.

Young Leader Member Benefits:

Individuals receive all basic member benefits (listed below) plus eligibility for leadership roles at your local ULI’s Young Leader Group and free access to ULI’s case studies database, online reports, and professional development webinars.

Student Membership

Student Membership is limited to full-time students only. Applicants must provide proof of full-time academic status.
Annual Dues: United States: $90; Europe: €60; all other regions: $65.

Student Member Benefits

Individuals receive all basic member benefits (listed below) plus eligibility to participate at your local ULI’s Young Leader Group and free access to ULI’s case studies database, online reports, and professional development webinars.

Basic Member Benefits:

Member-only opportunities and discounts on events in your local area; subscription to Urban Land online magazine; online Real Estate Business Barometer featuring economic indicators and expert analysis on what they mean for real estate; access to hundreds of job listings and candidates through ULI’s Career Center; substantial member discount of up to 20% on all of ULI’s books, webinars, workshops, Real Estate School, conferences, forums, meetings, and more; volunteer opportunities at the local and national levels; and access to the online Membership Directory.
