Step One
Complete the Professional Development Certificate Application.
Step Two
Attend the required ULI professional development courses and events within a four-year period. Take all of the core courses in one convenient location at the annual ULI Real Estate School, or sign up for individual classes held throughout the year. Several courses are also available online.
To Earn a Real Estate Development Certificate
1. Attend three development courses:
- The Real Estate Development Process: Part I
- The Real Estate Development Process: Part II
- Advanced Development Process
2. Complete an additional 32 hours of elective ULI professional development instruction through workshops, webinars, or courses.
To Earn a Real Estate Finance Certificate
1. Attend three finance courses:

Step Three
Pass the ULI Certificate Exam.
