Rose Center forums are invitation-only gatherings of private- and public-sector leaders to discuss highly topical urban development issues, and are often done in collaboration with other ULI centers or initiations. The Rose Center hosts the annual ULI/Charles H. Shaw Forum on Urban Community Issues, which since 2001 has brought together a group of about 25 experts and leading practitioners to address a specific topic relating to the challenges and opportunities of urban neighborhoods. Other forums are held opportunistically.
The Rose Center’s collaboration and forum events include:
- 2011 ULI Terwilliger/Rose Center Multifamily Housing Forum (Houston, TX)
- German Marshall Fund/ULI Rose Center Forum Local Leadership in the Financial Crisis (Washington, DC)
- ULI Rose Center and the American Institute of Architects (AIA) Recovering Green (Washington, DC)
