The Greenprint Performance Report
provides a consolidated view of participating properties, detailing their current carbon footprint and providing an important benchmark against which the global real estate industry can measure its progress in reducing carbon emissions. Two reports have been issued to date, with Volume 2 marking the first report in which Greenprint Foundation members can measure their relative progress in reducing greenhouse gas emissions over time. Aligned with both the International Greenhouse Gas Protocol and the principles of ISO 14064,Volume 2 expands on our mission of providing a clear and consistent standard of greenhouse gas emission measurement and performance for the real estate industry which, along with its scope and size, make it not only one of the largest but one of the industry’s most verifiable, transparent and comprehensive benchmarking tools. In addition, Greenprint makes every effort to harmonize the Report’s methodology with established green building accreditation systems.
Greenprint’s Innovation and Technology Committee
which promotes increased awareness of innovative technologies and best operating practices to reduce energy and carbon usage, such as lighting solutions, smart meters, energy management systems, building commissioning, window solutions and HVAC systems.
Pilot programs
both member and non-member sponsored, that test new technology and management practices, and include white papers and case studies detailing program results in terms of effectiveness and cost.
Other future initiatives
including those centered on Regulatory Trend Reports, Green Leases and Green Finance
