Advisory Panels in Action
June 19-24, 2011–GM Plant, Indianapolis
ULI experts will visit Indianapolis to provide strategic advice on a variety of land use and real estate issues around GM Stamping Plant, a 2 million square foot industrial facility. Led by former Indianapolis Mayor Bill Hudnut, this panel is tasked with exploring the site’s market potential, suggesting development strategies, formulating planning and design ideas and framing implementation procedures to ensure that the site remains a productive part of the Indianapolis urban fabric.
November 7-12, 2010–Chester, UK
ULI is continuing to expand its influence overseas with the completion of the Institute’s first advisory services panel in the UK. The panel consisting of international experts advised the city of Chester on how to revive its retail sector and improve tourism while retaining the city's local character.
May 16-21, 2010–LA Cleantech Corridor
An advisory services panel examined the Cleantech Corridor (CTC) in Los Angeles to provide recommendations and alternatives for the redevelopment of an old industrial site east of downtown.
